Let's say we're trying to find House Report 111-448 from March 21, 2010 which pertains to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. To begin, enter the U.S. Federal Legislative History Library, browse by Popular Name, and navigate over to P.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next, scroll down until you find the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, listed alphabetically. Click on the act's name to find a list of available legislative histories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, click on the title Health Care Reform: A Legislative History of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Public Law No. 111-148 (2010)This will open up the title which includes a listing of the volumes, a link to open up the cumulative contents, and a search box. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To locate House Report No. 111-448, click the cumulative contents to open up all the documents indexed in the title. From here, users can either use the search bar provided, scroll through the documents, or use the CTRL-F function to search for "111-148."
